Brain Damage (1988)

I am working on a film project about video stores and need pictures. In the next few weeks I am starting a documentary about video stores. I need pictures for the movie and for help finding more small stores that are out there. I plan on traveling to as many mom and pop video stores as I can. If anyone can help me by taking pictures of local video stores it would be great. The stores can be open or closed but can’t be a chain like Blockbuster or Family Video. Last year shortly after I started this tumblr I decided to use this one just to record what movies I watch.I ended up starting my second one for pictures and this would just be movies.Well as of last week it had been a year of doing this.This is every movie I have watched from May 2nd 2009 to May 3rd 2010.A smalll breakdown shows I watched 174 movies,86 from the 00s,18 from the 90s,60 from the 80s,7 from the 70s,2 from the 60s,and 1 from the 30s.I know there are a few missing,like I know I saw “Food inc” on my birthday and I watched “Trick R Treat”when It came out on dvd.Kind of feels like I should have watched more movies,but this list would have been insane if I tried it when I was a kid.

Normally I dislike any combo collection DVD but this is the one exception.All four movies are either not available separately or are out of print.Three of the four are Jim Kelly,and that man is damn cool. I figured it was worth it to show everyone this collection in case they want to hurry out and find it.I know there was no need to get myself in here but I just had to share my smile for finding this!

In October it will finally be on dvd.Full special edition dvd(and maybe bluray) being looked over by Fred Dekker right now.Maybe “Monster Squad” will finally get the bluray release that has been talked about for some time.
